About Us

Thank you for visiting!

If you’re a survivor of domestic violence, rape, or abuse, you know how lonely the road to recovery can be. Your story is different than any other survivor on this planet.

We’re here for you.

We’re a ministry made up of survivors.  We understand each other.  We’ve found healing through writing, painting, photography, God, gardening, knitting, horses, solitude, eating out, marriage, and many other avenues.

We’re here to connect you to people like you.  People who know what you’re saying when you’re not saying anything.  We get it.

Please, make yourself at home.  Browse through our resources.  Read our survivor blogs.  Connect with the people behind them.  They are writing for you.

Comment.  Ask questions.  Share your story.  Get to know them.  Start your own adventure.  Join us.

We don’t judge.  We are still finding our own healing.  We aren’t perfect.

And if anything, we have become very, very honest.  Please, use us.  Whatever you’re facing, someone here has faced it too.

We welcome you as a friend and fellow survivor.

You are not alone.

My sister was murdered on May 26th, 2010.
She has a story to tell thru me.
Thank you for allowing others to use their VOICES here!
Contact me thru my blog if you want me to share.

    1. I’m not sure how I never replied to this comment. It has really hit home for me, as I have just lost my sister in a car accident. Although it’s not the same circumstances, I can truly empathize with what you have felt losing a sibling. It is an indescribable pain. Thank you for reading, and I am checking out your blog as we speak.

    1. Wow, thank you! Although I can’t take any credit. It wouldn’t be possible without others willing to share their stories with the world. Thank you for the encouraging comment!
